"Dr. V" (Talia M. Vestri) is a Postdoctoral Teaching Associate in the Writing Program at Northeastern University. As instructor of first-year writing, she draws on her research in kinship and family studies in order to guide students to explore their own communities and networks.

Dr. V has a PhD in English as well as a Graduate Certificate in Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies from Boston University. Prior to joining the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Northeastern, she was a visiting faculty member at Vassar College and at the College of the Holy Cross. Dr. V's research focuses on eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British poetry and fiction, and her courses span the Enlightenment through the present.
