The Writing Center offers free, friendly tutoring sessions for all levels of writers. Tutors can help you conceptualize projects and can assist with any stage of the writing process (planning, researching, organizing, drafting, revising, etc.). Fall 2020 tutoring will be offered online only. Visit this page before your first appointment and register for an account to use the online booking site to schedule your appointments.

Academic

Part of the Global Student Success program, the ITC offers free, comprehensive English language and academic support, including English as a Second Language (ESL) tutoring, language and culture workshops, and reading workshops. Schedule online tutoring appointments here.

Snell Library will be open with reduced hours and limited resources this semester, but there are many ways to access research assistance. Reach out to the Snell Librarians via their online contact form, 24/7 online chat platform, or reach out to the subject specialist for your department.

UHCS provides a range of medical and mental health services, including emergency assessment, therapy, group counseling, and referrals. Medical and mental health care teams are available for telephone consultation, and 24/7 immediate mental health support is available from Find@Northeastern at 877-233-9477If you are ill and need to speak with a medical provider, call UHCS during hours of operation and leave a message.

Mental Health

We Care is an extended network of support services that provide help and encouragement to NU students who are experiencing unexpected challenges in their personal or academic life, to embolden them so they can succeed. If you are having personal or academic difficulties, have a friend or classmate who is struggling, contact We Care for support.
