Every paragraph gives a detailed argument for why respect must be given by players, fan, coaches etc. This source dives into every aspect of the rugby community which serves as a good insight into the community as a whole. 

In this Irish newspaper article Vincent Browne looks at the traditional values that Rugby has passed down where the stereotypical manliness is endured. Going on to say that these social norms that it pushes are toxic to society. This source displays a side that I don’t necessarily agree with, since I don’t see rugby pushing these norms at people since no one is being forced to join the community. This source could serve as a good counter argument. 

John Nauright gives a detailed history behind the sport of rugby and its origins dating back to England private schools. The article goes on to mention how the sport spread on to other countries followed by their specific history. This article is useful since it provides a background into individual countries histories which can be used to connect their culture to their playing still or other aspects of their rugby style. 

This blog post talks about the importance of team cultures by diving into specific teams in the super rugby league. This article is useful because it provides more specifics about a certain league that involves only southern teams. This will allow the comparison between cultures in the southern vs northern hemisphere. 

This Op-Ed looks at the typhoon that occurred in the 2019 world cup held in Japan which delayed some games. While the article mainly focuses on the organization of the event there is also the takeaway of how the community bonded together during these times. This article can provide a real-world example of the way that the community helped each other in this worldwide event that affected all types of rugby fans from every part of the world. 

This Op-Ed brings up the topic of inclusiveness and how rugby has traditionally originated from private schools. The article goes on to claim that there is still a barrier for kids to get into rugby if in a public-school setting. This article is useful for further research since there is some questionable claims. These derive from the facts where most teams where from private catholic schools. These schools have the ability to recruit kids that public schools can't, this allows kids to choose between more private school teams than public school teams. 

This Op-Ed looks at the culture in the US to stand up for their beliefs through protests like kneeling. The article goes on to talk about how the whole rugby community could learn from this seeing how some problems go without being talked about by the rugby community which could take a stand against some problems. This article shows a different aspect to the respect in rugby by showing respect to what the community believes in or wants to stand up to.

This Article by Paul Rees investigates the endurance of players and how this takes a toll on their mental state. Players must endure tough physical games on the field, and this repeated action with the added chance of having and unsuccessful season and family problems can cause players to deal with an emotional storm. This article is useful at showing another side, and goes to show how much more impressive keeping respect on the field is during a tense situation.
